About Libertis
In the past decades, citizens of Europe have been immersed in an environment of increasing state control. Politicians and bureaucrats, both at the national and E.U. level, control more and more aspects of our lives. Today, the tentacles of the state permeate European education, business, healthcare, media, culture, and, most importantly, they shape the way we think. It was not always like that. The ideas of freedom were invented on our continent, by the likes of John Locke, FrΓ©dΓ©ric Bastiat, Ludwig von Mises, and many others. Europeans started revolts and revolutions to push back against state authority. In the 21st century, unfortunately, most people have forgotten the ideas of freedom. We accept and embrace a life of submission to the modern state and its bureaucracy.
Libertis is an entry point for those who want to (re)discover the ideas and practice of freedom:
  • Freedom to think what we want, and say what we think
  • Freedom from excessive taxation
  • Freedom from all-powerful, ultra-wasteful bureaucracy
  • Freedom from government interference in every aspect of our lives
  • Freedom from taxpayer-funded propaganda broadcast by state media
  • Freedom to educate our children the way we want
  • Freedom to access healthcare without bureaucratic diktats
